Dr. Shelby Rookstool

Dr. Shelby Rookstool joined My Family Vision Clinic in June 2019. Dr. Rookstool is a Nebraska Native. She grew up in North Platte and attended Chadron State College where she received her Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Human Biology in 2014.

In 2019, she received her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale, AZ. While in optometry school she was awarded the Kenneth A. Suarez Research Award for her research in blue light.

Dr. Rookstool is also a member of the American Optometry Association. In her spare time Dr. Rookstool enjoys art, cooking and spending time with her family, friends and Oliver (her mini-Aussie).
